Since 2009, the Airport has been  managed by a Joint Syndicate known as the “Pôle aéroportuaire Béziers Cap d’Agde en Languedocˮ, which unites several Communities and historical partnerships: the Beziers Mediterranean Communities and the Herault Mediterranean, the Confederation of villages within the Domitienne, the CCI in Beziers and the Herault Administrative Department. Since 2013, Béziers Cap d’Agde Airport has also been provided support by the Languedoc Roussillon Region.

 

The Presiding Chairman of this Joint Syndicate is Frederic LACAS, President of the Beziers Mediterranean Communities and also Mayor within the town of Serignan.

The senior 1st Vice-president is Gilles d’ETTORE, President of the Mediterranean Beziers Communities and Mayor within the town of Agde.

The senior 2 nd Vice-president is Daniel GALY, President of Beziers CCI.

The remaining Vice-presidents are: Alain CARALP (President of the Confederation of villages within the Domitienne), Alain BIOLA (Mediterranean Beziers), Gérard MILLAT (Mediterranean Herault), Roland ABELLO (Beziers CCI).

The General Manager of the Joint Association and the Airport is Pascal PINTRE.

 

With the creation of the Joint Syndicate, the Béziers Cap d’Agde Airport in Languedoc has put in place a dramatic development plan resulting in an ongoing high level of growth in air traffic. This has seen an increase from 31 824 passengers carried in 2007 to 244 471  in 2014.

A major contributor to local and regional tourism, Béziers Cap d’Agde Airport generates an annual income estimated at over 65 million Euros throughout the local area and has created approximately one hundred jobs.
