Shannon, New destination at Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport

Since March 26, 2023, Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport has welcomed a new air connection to Shannon in Ireland, operated by Ryanair.

Most of the traffic is made up of travelers entering our territory. However, this new connection offers local travelers the opportunity to reach Ireland at an affordable price with Ryanair (from €70 return).

They will be able to discover the Shannon region and visit the famous Bunratty Castle, admire the Cliffs of Moher and the picturesque charms of the coastal village of Lahinch. The region also contains numerous castles and medieval remains.

The nearby Connemara region is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, with rugged mountains, lakes, peat bogs and white sandy beaches. This region is also famous for its Celtic culture, traditional music and historical heritage.

The range of destinations at Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport

Ten airline routes to Northern Europe are offered this summer (until October 28): London Luton and London Stansted, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, Shannon, Stockholm, Brussels Charleroi, Düsseldorf and Paris Beauvais.

Three of these lines operate all year round: London, Brussels and Paris Beauvais.

A tourism development tool

Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport is owned and managed by the joint union "Pôle aéroportuaire Béziers Cap d'Agde Hérault Occitanie", which brings together the Béziers Méditerranée, Hérault Méditerranée and Sète Agglopôle agglomeration communities, the Hérault Department , the Occitanie Region, the La Domitienne community of communes, and has just been joined by the Cap d'Agde Méditerranée Tourist Office.

With a forecast of more than 250.000 passengers in 2023, the Airport is a significant contributor to local and regional tourism, its traffic generates economic benefits each year estimated at nearly 60 million euros in its catchment area and 600 indirect jobs . The airport has 110 jobs.
